Chicago is all about food. And Heinz is all about making food taste great. When it comes to Chicago-style hot dogs, ketchup traditionally is a big no no. So, we created Chicago Dog Sauce to find out what happens when people from Chicago try it on their famed hot dog. Surprisingly, most people actually liked it. And that's not the advertiser in me talking. People really did like it and a few were pissed they've never had it simply because they were told it was "wrong." We launched this little campaign on National Hot Dog day with the video below, a simple site that sold the Chicago Dog Sauce and drove trial by offering free Chicago-style hot dogs with Heinz on top at a few choice locations in Chicago.
